Meet The Team

Dr Jolene Pitman

I’m Dr. Jo Pitman, a devoted General Practitioner and aesthetic specialist, as well as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. I’m proud to be part of a vibrant practice, located in Durban, where I find joy in making a difference in my patients’ lives every day. My journey into the world of aesthetics began in 2019, inspired by the potential to enhance my patients’ well-being by integrating my medical expertise with aesthetic treatments. I now have the pleasure of serving patients not only in the Bluff but also in Morningside, Durban North, and most recently, Tokai in Cape Town. My approach is holistic, aiming to offer treatments that not only improve appearances but also contribute to overall health and happiness.

Melanie Janse van Vuuren

Joining the ranks of emergency medical services in 2003, I have been proudly serving as an Advanced Life Support paramedic since 2006. My commitment to excellence is underscored by my up-to-date certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and completion of a vaccination course accredited by the Department of Health. Presently, I fulfill my passion for helping others in my role as an operational paramedic.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I cherish the moments spent running, enjoying nature’s tranquillity, and making precious memories with my family. My dedication to health and well-being extends from my career to my personal life, reflecting my holistic approach to living a balanced and fulfilling life.

Andre Yon

I’m Andre, currently serving as an Intermediate Medical Paramedic, bringing over 25 years of experience in the emergency medical field. My career has been built on a solid foundation of emergency medicine, where I’ve been directly involved in managing medical emergencies across a variety of challenging environments.

Throughout my journey, I’ve responded to a broad spectrum of medical emergencies, often requiring rapid assessment and stabilisation of patients under high-pressure conditions. A standout chapter in my career was my time in Baghdad and Basra, Iraq, and a meaningful stint conducting Medical Evacuations for the French and Mali Military in Bamako, Mali.

These experiences have sharpened my ability to remain composed under pressure, swiftly make critical decisions, and adapt to rapidly evolving situations. I’m passionate about using my skills and experiences to make a significant impact in emergency medical care.

Jessica Crouwkamp

My name’s Jessica and I’m an Intermediate Life Support Paramedic with over 15 years of experience in Emergency Medical care. I’ve always been a big people person, so it’s no surprise that I’ve dedicated my life to patient health and wellbeing. As a first responder, I pride myself in my ability to remain calm and think critically during high-pressure situations. I am committed to serving my patients with the highest standard of care in a manner that is compassionate and reassuring. I believe it is so important to make those human connections and be a source of knowledge, comfort and support, especially during tough times. When I’m not in uniform, I can be found out and about, exploring the beautiful Cape with my husband and two curious kids.
